When the BIM12 Pro plan fits
BIM12 Pro is designed for a practice with a more continuous flow of architectural modeling work and a use for the additional services included. It costs €8,900 per month, excluding VAT, and covers thirteen projects. As with the offer's project definition, each project can include up to four floors within the agreed architectural scope.
Look at recurring demand
Review several months of expected work rather than choosing a plan from one unusually busy week. Count the projects likely to have complete references ready to submit and identify the internal people available for review. Separate straightforward architectural bases from work needing unresolved design decisions or specialist services. The higher allowance is useful only when the practice can prepare and absorb the work. A short pipeline schedule can reveal whether demand is steady or concentrated around a single temporary deadline.
Assess the additional services
Pro includes everything in Studio, plus thirty photorealistic renders per month and two hours of AI training per month for the team. Discuss how those services fit actual needs before assigning them a value in the comparison. Confirm the subject matter and preparation needed for renders and training instead of assuming every possible request is included without definition. An architectural base, a visualization and a training session have different inputs and review processes, even when they form part of one commercial plan.
Check the shared conditions
The architectural delivery is Revit or IFC as agreed, with human review and four change rounds per floor. The three-to-twelve-hour period applies per floor after the complete drawing and necessary information are received. Engineering and specific additional detail requirements must be agreed separately. Unused projects carry over to the following month; this does not establish unlimited accumulation. Quarterly payment receives a 15% discount, making Pro €22,695 per quarter excluding VAT. The service has no minimum commitment and cancellation is by email.
A Pro fit check
- Compare several realistic months of prepared work with the thirteen-project allowance and identify who will accept the returned architectural bases as deliveries arrive.
- Explain where the thirty renders and two training hours fit the team's actual work, including the source preparation and review decisions those services require.
- Check that selecting a larger allowance is supported by recurring demand and useful additional services rather than by a single temporary deadline or optimistic forecast.
Compare Pro with Studio using the expected project flow, review capacity and genuine use of renders and training. Ask the audit to test those assumptions against the practice's current process. A larger plan should make a defined workload easier to handle. It should not depend on optimistic utilization or on treating extra services as benefits the team has no time or reason to use.
General guidance: each project's scope is confirmed before commissioning.
