Modeling, review and follow-up: understanding the full fee
A monthly modeling fee covers a working arrangement as well as production capacity. To evaluate BIM12, separate the architectural work from the services that help the practice submit, review and continue it. This makes it easier to compare plans and to understand which internal responsibilities remain even when external modeling is available.
Identify the production component
Studio includes six projects per month for €4,500 excluding VAT, with up to four floors per project. Pro includes thirteen projects for €8,900 per month excluding VAT. The core scope is an architectural base delivered in Revit or IFC as agreed. Confirm elements, information depth, naming and any Revit version requirement. Engineering and specific additional needs are agreed separately. The project allowance should be matched to actual assignments rather than interpreted as unrestricted access to any kind of architectural or specialist work.
Identify the support around production
The offer includes human review, standard setup, the platform, a web viewer and priority support by email and WhatsApp. Each floor includes four rounds of changes. Those services support the workflow, but the practice still needs to provide complete information and approve architectural decisions. The platform shown on the website is an offer demonstration with sample information, not a capture proving an operational client project. Assess how the proposed workflow would fit the team's actual project and communication habits.
Compare added services separately
Pro adds thirty photorealistic renders and two hours of team AI training per month. Dedicated arrangements start from fifteen projects with custom pricing from €600 per project and include further defined services. Discuss the concrete use and scope of these additions rather than assigning them value simply because they appear in a list. Review billing, unused-project carryover to the following month and cancellation terms alongside capacity. Quarterly payment has a fifteen-percent discount; prices remain stated before VAT.
Read the fee as a package
- Separate production capacity from human review, setup, viewer, platform and support so comparisons with other arrangements use equivalent services and clear internal responsibilities throughout.
- Assess renders, training and custom services against actual team needs, asking what preparation and decisions are required before counting them as useful additions to the fee.
- Keep project limits, payment terms and architectural boundaries beside the price, especially when engineering or unusual detail requirements need a separate agreement before work begins.
Compare the monthly fee with the equivalent production, review, tools and management arrangement the practice would otherwise need. Use a realistic workload and the team's expected preparation and acceptance effort. The useful question is whether the package provides a dependable architectural base and a manageable route to it. That assessment is more informative than reducing every included service to an assumed cost saving.
General guidance: each project's scope is confirmed before commissioning.
